Issues raised by children are often complex and can include things such as bullying, family break-ups, anger, anxiety, loss, attachment or friendship issues.  We believe at Talk-in-Herts that promoting positive mental health through therapeutic intervention, such as counselling, can improve long term outcomes for young people schoolgirlincluding increased self-esteem, a more positive outlook to life and increased motivation to engage in school life. We are committed to providing a service that allows children the time and space to make sense of their feelings and to make positive changes.

Our school counsellors each have Safeguarding level three, as well as an enhanced DBS and have regular supervision. We will come to your school to provide any counselling. Our counsellors are registered members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and work to their Ethical Framework.
