I originally qualified as an integrative counsellor working mainly in a person-centred way. Since then I have gained more specialist training and experience in working with bereavement and loss, including sudden and traumatic death. Recently, I also completed the IAPTs Counselling for Depression training.
In addition to face-to-face work, I qualified as an online counsellor and supervisor with ‘Online Training for Counsellors’ (OLT). As a qualified adult trainer I have been working for OLT as one of their trainers for several years.
I am particularly interested in online text based counselling, which is valuable for the hard of hearing and those who enjoy writing and find it to be therapeutic. I am a great believer in the benefits of therapeutic writing and it works very well with online counselling. Please see our pages about online counselling for more information.
If you are interested in joining a therapeutic writing group either face-to-face or online please contact me for further information about when the next group will be running and to go on the relevant waiting list.
